Stop and Feel the Tile

Usually when the kids head out of the play area at the mall, I quickly usher them back in to the safety of the padded walls and climbing toys.Instead, yesterday Brandon spent more than 5 minutes playing "patterns" with Maggie. She would step onto the tile, and be in the mall, then onto the foam, and be in the play place. Back and forth, back and forth. Mall, play place, mall, play place. You get it. And she loved it! 

I know there are more little things like this that I would normally hurry her long or stop her from doing. 

I'm going to try and give her time to find things she enjoys instead of hurrying her along like usual.
